How to manage remedial coursework

On the professors' e-learning pages, you will find:

   Course Syllabi (full programs or partial ones for remedial studies/credits integration);

   Links to video lectures (where available);

   Laboratory schedules / practical activities;

   Tutoring activities;

   Extraordinary exam dates (standard exam dates are already available on Infostud);

At the following link: https://idea.uniroma1.it/course/index.php?categoryid=4
You can already find video lectures summarizing the minimum required knowledge (saperi minimi) in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Remedial Exams: First Semester

Specific remedial syllabi (6 credits) have been established for the Cell Biology and Histology and General and Inorganic Chemistry exams. Dedicated video lectures are currently in production and will be made available as soon as they are ready. Ongoing tutoring sessions will be activated to assist with exam preparation.

  •    Extraordinary exam sessions in April;
  • Students are encouraged to regularly check the e-learning pages of individual courses/professors;
  • Incoming students must refer to their surname's initial letter to ensure they follow the correct assigned group (channel)."
Additional Second Semester Remedial Activities

Specific remedial syllabi (3 ECTS credits) have been established for the Genetics and Physics exams. Courses are currently being held in person (on-campus) and may be attended either in full or in part, depending on the number of credits to be earned. Ongoing tutoring sessions will be activated to assist with exam preparation.

  •    Students are encouraged to check the e-learning pages of individual courses/professors;
  • Incoming students must refer to their surname's initial letter to ensure they follow the correct assigned group (channel)."
Please note that:
  • Students who did not pass the corresponding exam during the preliminary semester must take the full (integral) exam;
  • Prerequisites must be respected. To take the Genetics exam, you must first pass and complete the Cell Biology and Histology exam;
  • To integrate the required 3 ECTS credits in Organic Chemistry, you must first pass General and Inorganic Chemistry.
