Stem Cells and Organoids
Stem Cells and Organoids
The Stem Cells and Organoids facility was established thanks to university funding within
the framework of the 2022 Equipment Call. This infrastructure, housed in the floor -1 of the
General Physiology building (CU026), consists of an integrated platform for the generation,
cultivation, differentiation, modification through genome editing techniques, and
characterization of stem cells and organoids. The current equipment includes a special
laminar flow hood with an integrated stereomicroscope equipped with a camera and
heated stage (IVF Hood), and other equipment for cell cultures, including orbital shakers
for incubators specifically designated for the generation and long-term culture of
organoids.
