Genetics
The research projects carried out by our group fall into four main research fields: structure, function and integrity of chromatin, genetic control of cell division, molecular mechanisms of ageing and diseases, evolution. Different aspects of these broad topics are specifically analyzed, using several experimental approaches and widely employed model systems such as Drosophila and mammalian cultured cells.
