Cellular, Molecular, Developmental and Behavioural Neurobiology
The research lines in neurobiology are focused on the molecular mechanisms of normal and pathological nerve functions. In particular: the cell biology of serpinopathies; the role of acetylcholine in glial cells; synaptic adhesion molecules in disorders of nervous system development; the pathway of cyclic nucleotides in nervous system; neurobiology of spatial memory; alterations of the nervous system induced by Duchenne muscular dystrophy; the neural stem cells regulators; the neural circuitry in response to traumatic stress
