PhD position in Genetics and Molecular Biology funded on RNATRAIN project

FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN Support for training and career development of researchers (Marie Curie)

Project: RNATRAIN

Title: Role of lncRNAs in muscle differentiation with specific emphasis on the characterization of  nuclear lncRNA-protein interactions.

Main Objective: Unveiling the contribution of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) to organismal biology represents the ambitious long-term goal of the lab. In the case of nuclear lncRNAs, the interaction with numerous chromatin regulators and/or transcriptional factors directs these activities to appropriate locations on the genome. Along this direction, the major objective of the present project is to identify protein partners specifically interacting with candidate lncRNAs with a relevant function in muscle differentiation.
